| Today was a rest/acclimatisation
day, with a walk planned for those who wished, up a ridge path behind
Tagnac. Those on the walk left camp at 0945 and followed the path up the
ridge. The sun was out as we set out, but true to form, it wasn’t long

| The path soon became a little steep,
but we were in no hurry, plenty of opportunity for rest-stops and
photographs. On reaching the 4600m/15026ft point, it was decided we were

| Light snow started again in the
afternoon, so it was back into the ‘bag’ for warmth. (I avoided
sleep during the day so has not to jeopardizes sleeping at night.) Tea
and dinner went, and I was soon back in the tent for the night. (photo: The glacial lake that caused the devastation in the Hinku Valley can be seen) |
