Just before the A259 is reached, go up the
footpath left to avoid walking on the main road. Cross the road at
the top joining the path into Friston Wood. Keep right on the path
down through the wood, across an open green space and over a second open
area, having crossed a private access road.

After the second open space, go left down the
track, left at the bottom, then right on the track to Westdean. At
Westdean, go left on the narrow village lane, and when opposite the road
off to the right, go left up the stepped footpath. Once over the top, the
path drops down to the Visitor Centre and then through to the car park.
